The usual way of checking the remaining capacity of a USB hard disk drive is to hook it up to a computer to check it. But the Verbatim InSight USB hard drive does not need you to do so. It comes with a LCD which always displays the remaining storage capacity even though it’s not connected to the computer’s USB port.

Blind will get a chance to see, but not with their eyes, instead with their tongues. A device called BrainPort which was first introduced in 2006 has made this possible; allowing the blinds to regain some vision by means of a camera and electrical impulses sent to the tongue.
