Navigon’s Mobile Navigator is the GPS application for the iPhone, which might be as good as and even to replace the GPS device you have. The application costs $70, double the price of the Co-Pilot 8 GPS iPhone app that we’ve seen before.

Interested in knowing what the major improvement that RIM has done on the hardware of the version 2 of BlackBerry Storm? It’s the touchscreen. The BlackBerry Storm 2 will come with a more user-friendly SurePress touchscreen display. The revamped touchscreen display will be capable of detecting different levels of pressures at any point of the screen, which is different from the Storm 1 that only responds to simple clicks.

QLOCKTWO is another clock that hates numbers, instead, it tells time in full sentences such as “quarter to eleven”, “twenty five past twelve” etc. The clock might give some people a better grasp of what time it is by telling time in full sentences instead of numbers. If you’re one who hates jumping digits on a clock or hates reading the hour and minute hands of a clock, then the QLOCKTWO should be a better choice.

Engineers from Tokyo-based engineering group NTT Facilities have built two solar-powered UFOs for the Aqua Metropolis festival in Osaka, Japan. These UFOs are not meant for the aliens to fly in the space, they are simply meant for purifying water and they’re equipped with solar panels for collecting sun juice to keep them running.

Cloud Telecomputers has announced a desktop phone that comes with an 8-inch touchscreen display and runs the Android OS. It is likely the first time we’ve seen that a desktop phone runs Android. This desktop phone sits on the “Glass Platform” and taps on many features available with the Google Android OS such as visual voice mail, SMS, email, calendar and it’ll work with most Android applications.

An iPhone dock can be easily made by using a few bolts and nuts and one or two pieces of plastic within your hands reach. As shown in the picture, it’s another homemade iPhone dock made using bolts and nuts. Unfortunately, no instructions were given on how this iPhone dock was made.
