Brunton Sync is a portable power pack that allows you to carry it anywhere you go for recharging any USB gadgets including iPod, GPS, iPhone etc. Imagine, such a little power pack claims to be equivalent of 5,000 AA batteries (2,000 mA/5V output) and it can even be hooked up to the Brunton’s solar panel accessories to extend the recharging capability.
The little Brunton Sync device is water-resistant and wrapped in a rubberized exterior and an extra protection of the trail. This little power pack weighs less than a pound. The device allows you to clip it at your backpack strap while keeping those USB gadgets charged; it’s suitable for outdoor use.
The most amazing part is of course, it’s an equivalent of 5,000 AA batteries. But once the charge stores in it has run out, you can recharge it via one of the Brunton solar panels, AC outlet or DC car adapter. This Brunton power pack costs only $150.

This is not the equivalent of 5000 AA batteries. It’s the equivalent of _4_ rechargeable AA batteries…
except AA rechargeable now come in 2900mah, (4 x 2900mah = 11,600mah)
