Sony is prepping their XC memory stick which claims to come with a whopping storage capacity of 2TB. Yes, two terabyte of storage capacity is what Sony is talking about currently. The Sony’s XC memory stick will also come in the same form factor as other memory sticks and the guess is it’d be backwards compatible with the rest of XC.
The Sony’s XC range will use the exFAT file system which is far better than the antiquated FAT12,FAT16 and FAT32. The XC stick is the proprietary item of Sony, which currently has not much details. The price could be expensive as it’ll be the only one with such a super huge storage capacity in the market. Imagine how many images or video clips that you could take with your camera if you have one of these memory sticks in your camera.
