
Hitachi has announced their new Deskstar7K2000 HDD, which is the first 7,200 RPM hard drive that comes with 2TB storage capacity. The Deskstar7K2000 HDD features a 32MB cache and is equipped with a SATA II interface that allows data transfer rate of 3Gbps.
The Hitachi Deskstar7K2000 has been made to carry some eco-friendly features, consuming low power but maintaining high performance and high storage capacity, suitable for use in high-performance computers. The 2 terabyte capacity is sufficient for geeks who have tons of HD movie clips and MP3 music files to store.
