Perhaps the most annoying when dealing with a scanner is having to wait for it to warm up when starting a scan. Now, Epson has rolled out their new V500 office scanner, which comes equipped with the ReadyScan LED technology, eliminating the warm-up time when starting a scanner or switching between the film and reflective scanning.
The V500 scanner is suitable both for home and office use. It’s also equipped with 30-page automatic document feeder and with a scan speed of three pages per minute. The Epson V500 scanner supports resolutions of up to 6400 dpi, and it has a transparency feature which allows the scanning of films, negatives and slides.
The included software is also capable of removing dusts and scratches on film and restore old and faded images. The Epson V500 office scanner will be out in September and priced at $350.
