Certainly, Apple products all come with the letter “i” preceding their names, such as iPhone, iMac, iPod, iTunes and more – you name it. But the upcoming tablet of Apple will not be called iTablet. But “iTablet” seems to be the hottest term that many have searched over the Internet.
The graph above shows the Google Trend, which shows the search for “iTablet” over the past couple of months. But based on the analysis by Snippets, all the names of the Apple Products following the “i” have a single syllable, excepts some minor products such as iPhoto, iMovie etc.
“iTablet” is apparently having more than one syllable, therefore the conclusion is the upcoming Apple’s Tablet will not be called iTablet since it’s a major product that should be given a name with single syllable.
It’d be best now to make your guess what the Apple Tablet’s name would be. Some good guesses such as iPad, iTab will have high chance of getting it. Even iSlate, iSlab could also be the possibility. So, iWhat? Can’t we forget about the “i”, perhaps Apple would omit the “i” this time???
