Shown in the picture is the London calling mobile phone. And it’s one that is modeled on a classic K6 Red Telephone Box found in the UK. This phone is a fully functional mobile phone that comes with the common features such as 65K color TFT screen, camera, full SMS and MMS capabilities, GPRS/WAP 2.0 and ployphonic ringtones.
The London calling phone is also loaded with 15 different wallpapers – all are from the iconic images from old Blighty. And you can also set your ringtone from one of the 20 melodies including the popular ones such as Rule Britania, God Save the Queen etc.
This phone will be sold unlocked, which means you can use it on any network. It’s just an ordinary cellphone, excepts it’s shaped like a British telephone box. Perhaps tourists who visit London will pick one up to show off to friends an relatives. But it isn’t cheap, with a price tag of £86, which would mostly put many people off.
