Bang & Olufsen has announced a musical alarm clock, BeoTime, which is specially designed to let the users wake up in their choice of pleasing tunes. The BeoTime is shaped like a flute, but it has some small cubes on it instead of the air holes normally found on a flute.
The small cubes are actually the tiny displays which are equipped with motion sensors. These sensors will activate the display backlights once they’re touched. This flute-shaped alarm clock allows the user to set their favorite tune, so they can sleep and wake up in the pleasing music of their choice.
Although this alarm clock is shaped like a flute, but it gives no problem for viewing the numbers on the display. The BeoTime was designed by Steffen Schmelling who claims inspired by Mozart’s The Magic Flute. And it’s priced at a stunning $375, who could be contributed by the great inspiration which the maker got for making it. Slated to be available from showrooms this August.
