ZINK paper – the kind of zero-ink paper which will form images and text when heat is applied on it. The company ZINK is sponsoring a design competition, one of the finalists, David Bulfin, built an Inchworm robot, which climbs the walls that are covered with ZINK paper and prints text and images on the walls.

The little Inchworm robot uses suction treads to crawl along the walls covered with ZINK paper, and it’s got a thermal unit attached to its belly which prints out images and text on ZINK paper.
This little robot is controllable via connected to the Internet. You can even update the walls with the latest activities or the contents in RSS feeds from those social networking sites or your blogs. Once the bot has covered the entire house, what you have to do next is to stick up more ZINK paper.
