This little credit-card-sized device is a handy player that allows you to play back those pictures and video clips on tiny storage media such as USB flash drives or memory cards. The player has AV outputs, so you can just hook it up to a TV using standard AV cable which also comes included with this player.

Keep this TV card player connected to your TV, it plays your pictures or clips on memory cards taken off from your digital cameras or USB flash drives. This eliminates the hassle of needing you to burn those clips or pictures onto CDs or DVDs for playback.

The USB TV card player supports up to 17 common memory cards found in the market (SDHC needs external card reader), and reads directly from USB drives without drive program. It comes with an IR remote control. Unfortunately, it does not have HD output. Anyway, it’s just a very simple setup, highly portable, allows you to carry around and playback those pictures and video clips on any televisions.

$54 seems a high price for such a device. Not to mention, that standard Dvd divx and mp3 players are so readily available in the market, that too with usb support.
A philips player in india with such functions comes for about 50$. So what’s the point in having such an expensive device with only usb compatibility? aren’t there any cheaper versions of this device in the market? It sounds good. Good to carry and stuff. Unless you’re a frequent flier, I don’t see the use of such a device.
It should be for 25$. Nothing more.
