The Asus’ P6X58 Premium mobo was showcased at Computex, it’s one of the motherboards that comes with the SATA 3.0 support which boasts a whopping data transfer speed of 6Gbps.
The P6X58 Premium motheboard is powered by the X58 chipset and meant to be used with the Core i7 processors. It’s got six DDR3 memory slots. three PCI express 2.0 card slots, and the Express Gate instant-on OS.
This Asus motherboard is equipped with two SATA 3.0 ports. If you have peripherals that support the SATA 3.0, then you can enjoy the great 6 Gbps data speed. The specs revision of SATA 3.0 was just done last month and a couple of makers have earlier on shown some SATA 3.0 complaint devices. So, I believe it’s kinda hard to find any SATA 3.0 devices in the market at the moment.

Other goodies found on the Asus mobo are a 7.1 channel audio, Gigabit Ethernet, a 16-phase power design, Power and Reset buttons, MemOK technology and of course SATA 3.0
