Intel has unveiled the so-called world’s smallest Windows-based MID – Compal KAX15 at Computex. This device comes in a slide and tilt form factor, which is obviously shown in the picture how the screen can be slided out, tilted at an angle and placed on your desk to let you work on it.

The Compal KAX15 MID features a 4.8-inch screen that has 800 x 480 resolution and is powered by an 800MHz processor which can upscale up to 1.2 GHz. Perhaps, some might mind that the device has quite a lot of unused spaces, such as on either side of the keyboard and it has a thick red bezel surrounds the display. The device is currently deemed to belong to the Menlow platform. A video clip is included below that shows the KAX15 MID in action.
