Sagem has announced two units of its top-of-the-range HDMI digital TV recorders. The two units are codenamed DTR 67320T Eco and DTR 67500T Eco, come equipped with hard drive of 320GB and 500GB respectively and claim to offer recording capabilities of 160 and 250 hours.
The two recorders have 8-day electronic programme guide. It allows the user to pause, rewind and record live digital TV and boasts series recording. The recorders also let the user record two channels at the same time plus watching the recorded one, and it also offers picture-in-picture functionality.
The Sagem recorders are also able to upscale picture quality to HDMI standard of 1080i or 720p. The two new recorders are also equipped with USB ports which let users to plug in a USB flash drive to side load content from the recorders. And it can also directly play the MP3 or view pics on the USB flash drive.
The Sagem recorders have the “eco” tag in their names, is simply because they consume extremely low power of 2W only while they’re in standby mode. The DTR67320 Eco and the DTR 67500 Eco will be priced at £149.99 and £179.99 respectively.
