
Tangent has unveiled their Medix 10 tablet, which features a 10.4 inch screen and is specially designed for health care section. The device weights 3.3 lbs, and is built based on Intel Health Architecture and is equipped with a touchscreen.
The device comes with a dual battery system which both batteries are hot-swappable that ensures no loss of data or interruption of operation that usually occurs when a single battery system runs out. The device’s touchscreen is responsive to both fingers and stylus, and it’s equipped with biometric fingerprint reader, barcode scanner, RFID reader and it’s powered by an energy efficient Intel ULV processor.
The Tangent Medix 10 Tablet has also been designed to stand harsh environment. It meets the IP-54 standards for a dust-free, waterproof operation and can be sprayed and wiped down without the risk of damaging it. This medical tablet is also fan-less, making it easier to use 10% bleach/water disinfectant solution to clean it.
