Athletes shall take consistent monitoring of their heart beat rates during their workout. There have been many heart rate monitors in the market but no one yet we have known that is suitable for swimmers.
The basic requirement for a swimmer’s heart rate monitor is it must be waterproof and stay in the water with the swimmer to measure the heart beat rate. Here comes the Aqua Pulse, which is the first of its kind specially designed for swimmers.
The Aqua Pulse heart rate monitor is waterproof. It depends on an infrared sensor that is to be clipped to the earlobe for measuring the light pulses from the capillary blood flow in the skin, which can then be used to calculate the heart beats per minute.
The device is important for swimmers to be aware of their own heart rate during their training, so they can stay in their ideal heart-rate zone. Aqua Pulse even makes use of bone-conduction technology which allows the swimmer to hear their own heart rate while they’re under water.
