Zune HD gets reviewed
Zune HD is the latest Zune that Microsoft has brought to us. The Zune HD has got a number of changes over the previous models such as it’s now come with a OLED display.

The Zune HD has a built-in HD radio receiver which allows the user to tune in radio with quality that is much better than traditional radio quality. You get additional songs and artist data broadcast and also additional HD radio channels such as HD2 and HD3 for additional programming.

The OLED screen boasts a resolution of 480×272 and is in a 16:9 widescreen format. It allows the users to comfortably flip through music, moves and other content and also offers a much better viewing experience on the go. The Zune HD also allows you to playback supported HD video files direct to an HD TV in 720p with the help of a premium HDMI audiovisual docking station which is sold separately.

Other goodies include a full-screen Internet browser optimized for multitouch functionality, WiFi connectivity, and allows instant streaming from more than 5 million track from Zune music store.

Zune HD hands-on review
The Engadget team has had their hands-on on the Zune HD. And they’ve found the device really rocks, especially with the OLED screen, which presents severe viewing angles, super-bright colors, crisped edges and beautiful-looking text. While in the hands, the Zune HD gives a solid feel, with good heft to it and surprisingly thin.

The Zune HD’s interface is great as well, presents easiness of flipping images, scaling text, smooth scrolling and very smooth on simple visual navigation and there was no hiccups with the OS throughout their hands-on process, but they’ll continue to do more things on the OS.
