Transformers have invaded the gadget world! Two more transformable gadgets I’d like to show you here – they are a Transformer mouse and a Transformer laptop with 4-port USB hub.
The Transformer mouse is able to transform from a mouse into a robotic dinosaur as pictured above. It surely lets you kill some time, which you can turn it into a robotic dinosaur, called the Trypticon to have some fun while you’re bored. This transforming mouse is unsuitable for those who are under 16. As it may contain sharp points, small parts that are choking hazards. The Transformer mouse is available on BigBadToyStore for a price of $60 (Pre-order).
The second transforming gadget is able to transform from a robot into a little tiny laptop that has a 4-port USB hub at its base. The robot can store a mini cassette tape (the one used on old answering machines) on its chest but the product page has no further information if it can play the cassette. Find out more on Amiami. The price tag of 3,980 Yen (about $42 USD) sounds to cheap to be true.
Update: Apparently, it’s not a functioning laptop/netbook, it’s just a fake one. Look at how it’s transformed into a robot, having the screen of the laptop broken into pieces distributed across the “wings” of the robot. So, it could be only functioning as a USB hub or maybe as a recorder since it can hold the mini cassette tape.
