The newly announced Motorola cellphone, MOTOW7 Active Edition is equipped with an accelerometer that is able to capture your body’s motions and various gestures to perform tasks.
Those who prefer to shake, use simple hand gestures to operate gadgets shall fall in love with the Motorola Moto W7 Active Edition. Flipping the phone over allows you to silence the ringer of an incoming call, snooze the alarm clock and even pause the music. Flicking the phone left and right allows you to move between images and music in the album. You can even shake the phone to launch an application e.g the music player.
The Moto W7 comes equipped with two cameras, which are a 2-megapixel camera for static images and a second VGA camera for making video calls. The Moto W7 is also equipped with a built-in step pedometer which is able to record your daily walking activities – great to be used to remind you to keep up with your daily activities in order to burn the right amount of fat.
Other goodies include MP3 player, FM Radio, full-screen video viewing, 8Gb external memory (optional), 3D experience on mobile gaming, body-controllable gaming (shake, jump, dance to control games), games switchable between single and multiple-player modes, accessing the web, downloading data and streaming videos via 3G. The best is the MOTO W7 will be available in Q2 2009 in Asia and Latin America and available in two colors which are Licorice and Alpine White.
