If you wish to project 3D images on the walls using a single 3D-enabled DLP projector, you can now just add a little screen created by RealD to your projector, to allow it to project 3D images on the fly.
The RealD LP is the little screen that we’re talking about here. It’s actually a Linear Polarizing Z screen which sits in front of your projector lens as shown. The RealD LP then allows content to be seen in 3D by polarizing right- and left-eye images. But users will still need to wear 3D glasses in order to view the 3D images.
The RealD LP is a quick and passive solution to allow the projector to project 3D images, eliminates the hassle of setting up dual-projector 3D systems required for 3D images. The RealD LP is specially designed for office and public museum type places. It’ll likely be made for home use to let you enjoy 3D movies on a big projected screen.
It’s suitable for screens up to 17 feet wide, and works with 3D-enabled projectors such as NEC NC800, Christie Mirage HD, and Lightspeed Design HD DepthQ etc.
