Palm has got their second WebOS smartphone ready, the Palm Eos, which is a super slim cellphone that will be launched by AT&T.
The Palm Eos measures only 10.6mm in thinness, and it’s a quad-band GSM phone which supports HSDPA high-speed data connectivity. Besides, getting launched by AT&T, this phone is likely to be launched in Canada and Europe later.
As shown in the picture above the Palm Eos looks really very slim. Besides running the Palm WebOS, other features on this phone can be expected as follows:
- A-GPS
- Bluetooth 2.1 with A2DP, EDR
- Music & video players
- SMS, MMS, built-in IM client
- 2 megapixel fixed-focus camera with flash and video recording
- 4GB of internal memory
- MicroUSB 2.0
- 1150 mAh battery for up to 4 hours of 3G talk time
The Palm Eos is expected to be priced at $349 before rebate. But with an AT&T contract you just need to pay for $99 only for this ultra slim cellphone. There is no confirmation that this phone is solely bound to AT&T. Most probably, T-mobile would get it as well.
