What is shown in the picture, worn by the guy is the ContourHD, claimed to be the world’s first wearable HD camcorder. It’s super lightweight, which can snap on the helmet, as shown.
Cyclists could make use of the ContourHD camcorder to capture every beautiful scenery on the road. This anodized aluminum camcorder weighs only 4 ounces and it can snap on your equipment. It’s capable of shooting HD video with 1280×720 resolution at 30fps or SD at 60fps.
The recorded video is stored onto microSD cards up to 16GB, which is equivalent to 8 hours of HD video and 16 hours of SD to be captured on a single microSD card. The device also features a 135-degree lens with rotation and laser alignment. Expected to be priced at $300 and hit the store in May.
