Torrent have launched the SureConnect HDMI Cables, which are claimed to give you better viewing of HD contents. The cables have some chemical treatment within to ensure the HD signal flows are perfect. And some more, each cable has an LED indicator that blinks when signals are flowing fluently, so you’ll know that the HD connections from your player to the HD display are perfect.
The mentioned LED indicator is called VeriFYI, available only on the highest spec model of the SureConnect Cables (named the Advanced and Elite). The little doubt is that most HD displays have the HD inputs at the back, which means, you can only see the blinking LED when you take a look at the back of your HDTV. And it also means that you can already see if the cables are in place while you’re taking a peek at the back of your HDTV.
Perhaps, while you have all the room lights switched off to enjoy exciting movies on the HDTV, the blinking of the LED shall be very obvious in a room that has no other lights, so you do not need to take a check at the back of the HDTV.
Anyway, the cables also include other features such as Mylar Protective Shielding to shield them from interference and the connectors are gold plated for better connection. It also has MagLoc which is an additional feature that magnetically connects the cable to ensure good connection. If you’re a serious fan of HD movies and do not want any electrical noise or interference to affect your viewing, the SureConnect HDMI Cables would be the better choice.
