
A cell phone that is in the size of a credit card! You could slide it into one of the card slots of your wallet. This phone is called CARD mobile phone, which is a product of a company called Real Card Phone.
This credit-card-sized phone measures only 5.9 mm in thickness (less than ¼ inch), which is about the width of three credit cards. And it weighs only 1.3 ounces or 37 g. The phone is a dual band GSM GPRS, comes with either a monochrome or color display.
The CARD mobile phone is easy to operate, comes with voice recognition software which supports voice dialing, and is language independent. It doesn’t have a traditional keypad. Instead, it’s presents the user with an onscreen dial pad. It supports text messaging but the outgoing is with fixed messages. The battery can last more than 200 minutes for talk time, and 100 hours on standby. And it’s waterproof which you don’t have to worry about accidentally dropping it into water. This card phone will be available in June or July, scheduled to hit India first or maybe US later.
