Olympus has announced their latest DSLR camera, E-450, which is an upgrade of the earlier model E-420.
The E-450 is considered rather compact beast in the DSLR group. It’s equipped with three Art Filters, powered by a new processor and a enhanced LCD display. The E-450 is basically an improved version of the Olympus E-420.

The E-450 is powered by the new TruePic III+ processor and have a relatively high buffer for image storage, which allows it to take 8 shots rather than 6 only with the E-420.
Other goodies of the E-450 include a 10-megapixel sensor, a 2.7-inch screen, ISO 100 to 1600 and 3.5fps continuous shooting. It also includes 28 shooting modes, wireless control for up to three groups of flash, Live View and with Olympus’s Supersonic Wave Filter for protecting the Live MOS imaging sensor against dust.
The E-450 DSLR will be priced $699 and bundled with both the ED 14-42mm f3.5/5.6 and ED 40-150mm f4.0/5.6 Zuiko lenses. And it’ll be shipped in May.
