Electronic Cigarettes are not new to us. But none of them we’ve seen charges via the computer’s USB port. For one that charges via USB port is definitely much handier for geeks who always stay in front of the computer. Just keep your cigarette connected to the USB to keep it burning nicotine forever.

Here comes the Electronic Cigarette from Thanko, which allows you to hook it up to the USB port and supply it with electricity to keep your smoking non-stop. This electronic Cigarette provides inhaled doses of vaporized nicotine, which allows the smoker to puff away without all the harmful effects to second hand smokers.

The e-cigarette comes in a pack that contains 11 filter butts and an atomizer. It costs only $33. The handiness is it doesn’t need batteries. This is especially handy for frequent travelers who always have their laptops or netbooks with them. When this electronic cigarette is out of juice, what you need to do is to hook it up to the USB port of your computer for a recharge.

Hey, take some responsibility here. Don’t give an ad for a product without telling readers whether it’s safe or dangerous. E-cigarettes are more than just suspect. Looks like they could be highly toxic and poisonous. The U.S. Federal Drug Admin. calls e-cigs “new drugs” and may soon pull them off the market. So far, the American Cancer Society, Cancer Action Network, American Heart Assn., American Lung Assn — all agree that electronic cigarettes should be pulled off the market. The World Health Organization says they may be highly poisonous. The makers of e-cigs claim they are safe but have absolutley no scientific studies to back up their claims. No evidence. No proof. Just “Believe us so we can make more money.”

Ethic Soup blog posted an excellent article on the subject at:

The cost of stopping your cigarette habit does not have to be breathing toxic poisons into your lungs from a pretend cigarette!

It’s working wonders for me and about 7 of my friends. I’ve been smoking for about 10 years and after smoking these i can honestly say i have more energy and I feel great. I can still smoke without worrying about my health. It’s a WIN WIN.

  4. Smokers Friend Says:

I would beg to differ, Sharon. Cartridges are available for electronic cigarettes that are completely nicotine free. How can a cigarette that is nicotine free be harmfull for anybody? They even come in flavours, like vanila or strawberry. If you choose so, smoking of an electronic cigarette can be less harmfull than an icecream. There is more info about it here: Milano

Hey guys. These are really cool devices… I have actually have one myself… but when I puff on my device, the tip actually lights up blue. So it is easier to get away with it at places where they ban smoking. I think I can get use to smoking my Electronic Cigarette. Anyways these smoking devices are healthier than regular cigs, because you are taking in water vapor. And they are great conversation starters at clubs and bars.

I have been smoking the RED DRAGON for over a month now and I am loving it! I can breath better and I even feel better. The RED DRAGON is the new 2 piece unit. No more messing around with drips and leaking carts. No more wondering when your atomizer will fail. The cart has a built in atomizer which is replaced every time you replace the cart. At less than $3 a cart it is half the price of regular cigs and I seem to be getting about 1 1/2 packs from each cart. The batteries last me about 6-8 hours also. I liked it so much that I became a distributor. They are assembled here in the states instead of being shipped in from over seas, so they do not have the problems with customs holding their inventory like most. They do run out of this or that from time to time, due to a huge demand, but they seem to get them back in stock very quickly. Their 8 piece kit is only 79.95 and that includes 2 batteries, 5 carts, a USB charger and a wall charger. They also have a 2 piece kit for 39.95 that comes with 1 battery and a USB charger. They carry over 20 flavors also. Check them out at http://www.buyreddragon.com/shop/ and use the code 297-684-432 to save 5%. They have a 1 year guarantee on the battery and have great customer service.

This IS classic! Hey Sharon – stop trying so hard to save people from themselves. We’re all grownups here and if an e cigarette allows people who choose to smoke to do so without producing second hand smoke for folks like yourself to whine about, I say bring them on. I don’t smoke BTW. The so-called “excellent article” that you referenced was written by you on a website that is….wait for it…OWNED by you! Now there’s an unbiased, objective reference if I’ve ever seen one. A cat person as well? I should have known…
