
Asus have a new netbook to be launched in their EEE PC 1000 range. The new netbook is the Eee PC 1002H, which also features a 10-inch screen, running at resolution of 1024 x 600 pixels.
The Eee PC 1002H is powered by Intel Atom N280 1.66GHz processor, is loaded with 1GB DDR2 RAM, 160GB hard drive and has a chiclet style keyboard. Asus also provides the user with 10GB storage online. This netbook has a pretty impressive battery life of 5 hours. It supports WiFi b/g/n connectivity and Bluetooth 2.0 with EDR which allows you to use a mobile phone as a EDGE/3G modem to hook up to the Internet.
The Eee PC 1002H has a VGA port, three USB ports, audio in/out, a multiformat memory card reader, and a wired Ethernet port, for those who prefer wired over WiFi due to paranoid security concern. Other goodies are a built-in 1.3 megapixel webcam, digital microphone array and stereo speakers etc. Features at a glance are as follows:
