
Peek Pronto is a cheaper device that works similarly to your BlackBerry, offering push email functionality and unlimited SMS. The Peek Pronto supports up to 5 email accounts, the only short is you can’t make calls with it.
The Peek Pronto costs $79.95, costs you $19.95 for the monthly service, same as the original Peek messenger (Original Peek costs $49.95 for the device). The Pronto is said to run faster than the original Peek, furthermore it has unlimited texting abilities. The device has built-in search functionality together with the supports of PDF and DOC attachments and also the regular picture attachment.
The battery of the Peek Pronto can last for up to 4-5 days for typical usage, which is pretty impressive that eases the little hassle of having to recharge every night. The Pronto weighs 3.8oz and measures 4 x 2.7 x 0.4 inches. It’s equipped with a 2.5-inch QVGA resolution, loaded with internal memory of 8MB, supports tri-band US GPRS connectivity, powered by a 104MHz ARM7 TI chipset and runs its own Peekux OS.
