Here comes the Slik Stik, a high-tech walking stick that has incorporated a couple of high-tech elements to ensure the elderly to walk properly and safely using this stick.

The Slik Stik is adjustable for its height, and it can be folded up for easy storage and brining it along. It has a rubberized non-slip hand grip that ensures sweaty hand is able to hold it firmly. It’s also equipped with a forward facing super bright LED and a foot-fall floodlight that enable the user to see their paths clearly in the dark.

It also has a panic alarm, so when the user can always make others alerted when they’re in panicking state or in danger. And the best is this walking stick is incorporated with induction generation system, allows the user to hand wind its retractable handle to provide several minutes of emergency illumination.

The Slik Stik was designed by Denise Anstey, a disabled woman, who was totally unsatisfied with the poor ergonomics and basic functions provided by a conventional walking stick.
