It’s not the first time that we’ve learned Hyundai is producing watch phones other than their usual products – vehicles. Here comes the second Hyundai watch phone in our collection – MB-910, it is a watch phone that supports tri-band GSM and GPRS connectivity.
The Hyundai MB-910 watch phone presents a little retro look. It features an analogue watch face which doesn’t tell too much that it carries phone functionality. Anyway, the phone has quite a number of features found on a cellphone. Other than the mentioned tri-band GSM/GPRS support, the display of the Hyundai MB-910 is actually touchscreen-based that has a resolution of 132 x 176 pixels. Messages such as SMS and MMS are displayed on this tiny touchscreen of the watch.
Surprisingly, the MB-910 supports polyphonic ringtones and allows video calls, the screen is able to display the caller ID and the video as well. This watch phone measures 58 x 44 x 16 mm and weighs less than 60 grams. You can use a BT headset as handsfree via Bluetooth. The internal battery of the MB-910 allows 3 hours of talk time and 70 hours of standby time. The MB-910 watch phone will be launched in Q2 in UK and targeted for a price of £200 ($275).
