
The GETAC PS535E is a ruggedized PDA that is best used for those who’re so much keen on exploring the nature. This rugged device is supposed to be a great companion for those mappers, surveyors, scientists, and even secret agents.
The ruggedized device is packed with GPS and smartphone functions. It’s also equipped with an altimeter and compass in addition to the GPS system. The device is powered by a 400MHz Samsung S3C2440A processor, with built-in 64MB RAM and 2GB of NAND flash onboard storage but there is no word if it’s expandable.
This rugged device runs Windows 5.0 Premium as the operating system, features an Transflective TFT 3.5-inch touchscreen, which is readable even under the hot sun. It also supports Bluetooth and WiFi connectivity.
