LG has rolled out the Xcanvas Eco LH30FD LCD in Korea. The most impressive part of these newly released LCDs is they feature powering-saving modes and consume 70 percent less power compared to other LCDs or Plasma TVs.

Scientists from University of Washington have helped researchers at VisionGate, a Seattle, WA company, to have developed a new kind of 3D microscope, Cell-CT, which is able to detect cancerous cells more effectively.
The Cell CT 3D microscope is able to visualize cancer cells in three dimensions, which shall bring great progress in early cancer cell detection in human body.
The Cell-CT uses visible light instead of X-ray to scan individual cells from all angles, which works pretty similarly to a CT scanner – In a CT scanner, a patient immobile while the X-ray machine rotates, whereas with the Cell-CT, each cell is embedded in a special gel inside a glass tube which then rotates in front of a fixed camera for taking many pictures per rotation.

But to my surprise, an USB humidifier also comes in disguise of something else, it’s shaped like a can of green tea, which could be the latest trend that a gadget will not be made to look like what it’s supposed to.
