Winstars M4 (codenamed WS-NSU68M4) is a USB networking server that connects up to 4 USB devices, and it comes with an Ethernet port which lets you hook it up to your existing home or office LAN. From that on, the 4 USB devices can be shared to other computers connected to the same network or LAN.
The M4 is just like a normal networking device, which can be connected to a network switch or a wireless router, and the 4 USB gadgets connected to M4 can then be accessed by computers on the local network.
The M4 is USB 2.0 compatible and useful for sharing a USB printer, an external USB hard drive, USB memory card reader or other USB storage drives to old computers that do not support USB. As long as it’s a USB device that you wish to share to other computers connected to the same LAN, you just need to hook it up to M4, and connect M4 to the same LAN.
