Note: The are some smart students these days, who’ve been making tons of money online, so they may not need this lamp.

Besides saving your bills, the StudyLite Lamp is specially designed for students who always need to study for long hours. This lamp was created based on the knowledge of experts on eye science, from Sankara Nethralaya University Hospital. It uses the most optimal levels of lighting ambiance, which may prolong your eyes from getting tired and you can study for longer hours than what you usually do.

This lamp comes equipped with a solar panel that soaks up sun lights for charging its internal NimH battery, which will last up to 6 hours on full charge. The lamp is in halo design and powered by 24 LED lights, which have been set up in a way making it more comfortable than any standard desk lamp.

The StudyLite Lamp was created by an Indian company with the initial intention to help those low-income students, especially in developing countries, where there are some areas having issues of power shortages. Other than this, it shall be a great one to be used as an emergency light. Especially handy when the power is out, and you are rushing for the last chapter. Unfortunately, the price is little steep, $33, which doesn’t sound to be targeted at the low-income students.
