
Acer has also landed on the MWC 2009 and is competing with various pioneer phone makers such as Nokia, Samsung etc, and they’ve eagerly unveiled their new series of smart phones, which is called Tempo. And the models in the Tempo series that have been unveiled at MWC are the Tempo M900, F900, X960 and DX900. Each phone is detailed as follows after the jump!
The M900 is considered as the flagship phone the computer maker. It’s equipped with large display, a full sliding QWERTY keyboard, it claims to be built “for all your communications on the go” and it’s stuffed with nice features as well. The specs of this phone are as follows:

The Acer Tempo F900 is thinner than the M900 as it doesn’t come with a sliding keyboard. The entire phone measures 117.5 x 63.5 x 12.85 mm. The features of F900 are similar to what are found on the M900 excepts the F900 has a 3-megapixel camera instead of 5 megapixel. The specs of F900 are as follows:
The Acer Tempo X960 has got some leaked pictures previously. This phone supports quad-band GSM and Tri-band HSDPA connectivity. The X960 has a display of 2.8 inch that boasts a resolution of VGA 640 x 480 only. The handset also has a 3-megapixel camera, GPS and WiFi.
The Acer Tempo DX900 is considered as a re-branded Glofiish DX-900. It’s a dual SIM phone, which the SIM 1 works on quad-band GSM and tri-band HSDPA frequencies, whereas the SIM 2 is meant for 900/1800/1900 MHz GSM bands only. This phone has a VGA touchscreen, other features are 3.2 megapixel camera, GPS and WiFi etc.
There is no further information when the four smart phones from Acer will be on sale. It could be a few months from now. All these four Acer smart phones run Windows Mobile 6.1 as the operating system.
