LG has rolled out the Xcanvas Eco LH30FD LCD in Korea. The most impressive part of these newly released LCDs is they feature powering-saving modes and consume 70 percent less power compared to other LCDs or Plasma TVs.
LG has rolled out three sizes for the LH30FD LCD, which are the 32-inch, 42-inch and 47-inch. These three LCDs are equipped with the Cinema Color Technology to boost video quality from color to contrast level and 4 phases of power-saving modes that reduce up to 70 percent of power consumption.
The power-saving modes could be making use of an ambient light sensor with White LED technology to adjust the brightness automatically according to the ambient lights, to keep the power consumption lower than usual.
The three LH30FD LCD monitors will be priced 1,120,000 won ($870) for the 32 inch, 1,650,000 won ($1,196) for the 42-inch, and 2,400,000 won ($1741) for the 47-inch.
