
Samsung has unveiled a full QWERTY smartphone, Samsung C6625, which looks more or less like the RIM Blackberry from afar. An unlocked version by Expansys can be obtained very soon for a price tag of £250.
The Samsung C6625 is equipped with a 2.6-inch non-touchscreen display that boasts 320 x 240 resolution. This phone supports Tri-band GSM (900/1800/1900 MHz) and it also supports high-speed 3G – HSDPA 2100MHz connectivity.
Other features include aGPS module, Stereo FM radio with RDS, stereo Buletooth, a 2-megapixel camera that supports video recording, with built-in 100MB memory which is expandable via microSDHC memory card slot and it runs Windows Mobile. The battery can last for up to 420 minutes of talk time and 300 hours of standby time. Similar to Blackberry, it’s aimed at business users.
