Zumba is a voice recognition phone that claims to offer best voice recognition technology. This phone is kept pretty secretive, which could be due to it doesn’t wanna get unnecessarily cloned by others.
The Zumba phone was developed by I A technology, and it claims to be able to change how people communicate. Zumba could not be demonstrated to the public, as the maker wanna make it a secret at the moment. Despite that, BBC still managed to have a glimpse. It seems to come with an ear hook which attaches behind your ear and immediately connects to an online service where all your contacts are stored.
To send messages to those in your contact list, what you need is only to voice out, most likely just to say the name of the person you want the message to go to. The Zumba claims it is the most accurate voice recognition system for the mobile phones.
The Zumba stores all your contacts on a central repository, works as a could-based system. This has the advantage of being able to maintain the entire list of contacts for the user, even though the user has lost the phone. So, by getting another Zumba, the user will get back all the contacts that are stored on the online service. BBC has got a video to show the Zumba phone in action.
