Option has unveiled their Globetrotter III 3G Wireless Router, which allows you to create WiFi hotspot and share the HSPA 3G broadband connection with your mates around.
This router should just need a SIM card from any cellular operator that offers the 3G HSPA high-speed Internet and from that on you can share the Internet connection to others over WiFi. It claims to be able to reach the download speeds of 7.2Mbps and upload speeds of up to 5.76Mbps, thanks to its Qualcomm’s 7225 chipset.
Other than sharing Internet, the device has USB connectivity, allows users to hook up USB external hard drives for data backup and sharing content over the WiFi network. This simply works like a USB to NAS adapter that converts any external USB hard drive into a NAS.
You can also connect a printer to this WiFi 3G router and let others to print through it over WiFi. It comes equipped with a color display which allows the easy operation for all its functions and it supports Advanced Wireless Service. No word for the pricing at the moment.
