The SRS Trumedia is the new application that is to be integrated into cellphones which brings state-of-art audio enriching technologies and advanced voice intelligibility processing technology. NEC has announced they are going to work hand in hand with SRS to add this new media suite into their cellphones.
With the SSR Trumedia suite added to NEC cellphones, they’ll be able to deliver promising crystal clear voice communications and superior entertainment experience which is especially good for multimedia applications such as 1Seg TV, MP3 playback and WMV support as well as music video channel compatibility. The first few models of NEC handsets to get the SRS media suite are N-01A, N-02A and N-04A.
One of the features of the SRS Trumedia suite is to be able to translate messages. But at the current stage the translation might not be hundred percent accurate. So words could be translated wrongly, therefore you’ll need to be careful when choosing words for your conversation and messages.
The SRS Trumedia suite is also able to deliver 5.1 surround sound experience over headphones, making it best used to enjoy multi-channel video. The Trumedia will deliver the best 3D audio experience for the users who are always on the go. And it’s got built-in capability for managining noises.
The SRS Trumedia is capable of adjusting the spoken voice, to sharpen and enhance it, when the users are using the phone at a noisy environment. At this moment, NEC’s handsets are the first to get the SRS Trumedia suite, but they are handsets that are being sold in Japan only. Meaning, those who live outside of Japan will not have a chance to enjoy the rich multimedia effect delivered by the Trumedia. Again, Japanese will always get best phones.
