Russian modder, Strannik, has made two loud speakers out of two old fire extinguishers. You have to appreciate his passions of making these speakers to work.
To make the loudspeakers out of the two old fire extinguishers is no easy job. He’d to go through hard work of cutting, drilling, welding to create seamless look for these speakers. That should be a great idea of recycling of these big metal cans.
Stranik also takes care well the acoustic effect that can be delivered by these Fire extinguisher loudspeakers. He’s put in effort to make it to produce best effect by adding phono-absorbant material, which is able to keep inevitable ringing to a minimum. Ringing will be a problem with metal container, when they reach certain frequency, therefore the Russian modder has added in the necessary material, hoping to minimize ringing.
Each fire extinguisher contains two sound units with coaxial-loaded drivers and spring-connector plugs, and another sheet of metal has been transformed into a very exquisite housing for the themed amplifier.
