LG Renoir phone gets hands on

LG Renoir (LG KC910) is an LG smartphone that comes with an 8.1 megapixel Touch Shot camera, equipped with a protected Schneider-Kreuznach optics. The LG Renoir needs you to open the lens cover in order to start shooting.

The phone also features face tracking technology, which allows the user to get focus on a face easily, by tracking it with your finger on the touchscreen. It’ll show you a lock on the face and you just need to press on the display to snap the picture. This is the Touch Shot technology of this phone, which makes it handy to lock the precious moment down of a beautiful lady, showing her best grin. But it was found with little uneasiness as it shook the camera a bit each time it was activated.

This phone also comes with a video that has slow and fast motion, which is fun to use. The phone produces sound quality that is enhanced by Dolby Mobile and it was tested on stage sounding very good.

The phone also presents a virtual keyboard on its touchscreen, which is switchable between QWERTY and landscape mode, and it worked pretty comfortably. The interface on this LG phone is considered well-designed. Some other goodies included on the LG Renoir are an aGPS module, WiFi, and 3G/EDGE connectivity.

Other than the mentioned, the camera also comes with advanced shooting features found on high-end cameras, such as Schneider-Kreuznach optics, a Xenon flash, auto and manual focus, sensitivity up to ISO 1600 and geo-tagging. Quick pecs at a glance are as follows:
