Mi-Obama – a new cellphone made by a Kenyan cellphone company which uses the name of the President Elect of the United States to boost its popularity.
The Barack-Obama-branded cellphone is decked out in blue and red, and there is fun phrase “Yes We Can” all over, and obviously we can the three big words at its back cover now in the picture. The company, Mi Phone, plans to sell this Obama phone at a mere $30.
At that price, the Obama phone shouldn’t be expected to come with cool features. It’s a basic GSM phone which has a built-in FM radio and a LED torchlight.
Kenya is the home country of the President Elect’s father. The coming of the new President of the USA is an auspicious moment for all Kenyans and the people of Africa.
