Eos Converge has showcased their wireless audio streaming system at CES. The system consists of multiple units which will be priced around $90 for each component and scheduled to hit the stores in March.
The Eos Converge wireless system needs to have a transmitter to be attached to an audio source, and from that on it can wirelessly transmit audio over the air to those speakers which have the receivers on. This wireless audio system has transmission range of around 150 feet, and it will not interfere with existing WiFi and Bluetooth signals in the surrounding.
The system is also said to best work with iPhone and Apple remote application, which allows users to remotely control music selection and playback through the existing home WiFi. Users will be able to use the app to search, select and play music, as well as displaying album cover artwork.
