Palm is back! Palm launched its Palm Pre at CES 2009. It’s dubbed as the next coolest smartphone that you should not miss, which may outsmart iPhone, HTC G1 etc.
Sprint will be the exclusive provider for the Palm Pre, so you will get Sprint’s exclusive content on it. It runs the Palm webOS and with a whole new interface. The webOS is well integrated with many online applications such as Google Calendar, Facebook. The webOS was also built on industry standard Web tools such as HTML, CSS and JavaScript. Developing applications for the webOS is simple.

On the hardware, you get a 3.1-inch 320 x 480 multi touch display with a silver center button (which is the gesture area), a full QWERTY keyboard, TI’s new OMAP CPU, EV-DO Rev, 802.11b/g WiFi, GPS, Bluetooth with A2DP and 8GB of included flash storage, 3 megapixel camera with LED flash, microUSB plug and 3.5mm headphone jack. And some more it can be wirelessly charged.
