
Couple of cellphones were also found and got hands-on at CES 2009. They are Motorola A3100, INQ1, HTC S743 and the LG HFB-500 solar-powered Bluetooth speaker phone.
Motorola A3100 (pictured above) weighs only 119g, which appears pretty lightweight to the hands. It features a 2.8-inch touchscreen with a talk and end button on both sides of a scroll ball. Equipped with 3.1 megapixel camera with a designated key and autofocus. There is also a VGA camera on the front for video calling. The microSD card slot supports up 16GB, great for massive music and photo storage. It runs Windows Mobile 6.1 Pro, powered by a Qualcomm MSM7201A 528 Mhz processor, with built-in 256MB flash memory. Other goodies are Bluetooth, WiFi, AGPS and great user interface with widgets. The standard Li-Ion 1170 mAh battery provides up to 298 hours of standby with up to 6 hours and 48 minutes of talk time. source

INQ1 – A handset that integrates with famous social networking sites such as Facebook, Skype, Windows Live Messenger and MySpace, so there is no need to download a single application for any of the mentioned. The INQ1 features a 3.2 megapixel, needs only a single touch of button for uploading pictures to Facebook. Social status is integrated into your contact list, so you get to know their online status, current status and updates on Facebook, Skype and Windows Live Messenger. And you can send a message and view their profile directly from the phone. Supports 3G, Bluetooh, A2DP and USB 2.0. Battery provides 329 hours of standby time and 324 minutes of talk time. It has a built-in memory of 50MB, and comes with a 1GB memory card and can be expanded up to 4GB. It features a 2.2-inch QVGA screen and measures 97 X 47.6 X 14.4 h. Te INQ1 is currently available in Europe and they have plans to launch in the US in the near future. source

HTC S743 – It’s a rather thick phone which feels more like a remote control in hands, and isn’t lightweight enough. The shiny, smooth display attracts fingerprint. The user interface was pretty speedy. source

LG HFB-500 solar-powered Bluetooth speaker phone – A handy handsfree to be used in the car. It can be recharged via AC or the in-car cigarette lighter socket. And some more it can soak up sun juice for its power, just leave it on the dashboard to do so. It provides 16 hours of talk time and 1,100 hours of standby on full charge. You get 30 minutes of talk time per 3hrs sun exposure. It supports both the headset and handsfree Bluetooth profiles. It was tested to be quick enough to pair with several handsets and smartphones. It supports last number redial, voice dial, call reject and call waiting, and will automatically reconnect when you come into range. Two phones can be connected simultaneously, and equipped with onboard echo cancellation and noise reduction. source
