ETX-LS telescope is a smart one made by Meade Instruments, which comes equipped with GPS technology that enables everyone to have a quick start on using it. It uses GPS range-finding coupled with CCD imaging to automatically align itself. Some more, it’s able to guide the user with audio tour of the stars above, by hooking it up to a computer and it automatically points out those stars and constellations in the sky.
It also comes with a remote control, which lets you sit on a comfy couch and cycle through over 100,000 identifiable celestial objects. It’s also equipped with a SD card slot, which lets you capture images and save to those memory cards.
This powerful telescope carries a price tag of $1,300 and scheduled to hit the stores early this year.
