
While Clickfree offers a totally click-free solution for backing your data onto a USB hard drive, SanDisk has also rolled out their Ultra USB flash drives, which also come with ease of data backup in mind.
But SanDisk USB flash drives may sound less promising than the Clickfree’s solution, as it needs at least a single click or a push of a button to get its back-up process kick off. These SanDisk USB flash drives come in storage capacities up to 64GB, which shall be sufficient for partial data backup.
These SanDisk USB flash drives come with backup software solution which shall be smart enough to pull those files from the computer, once the button is pushed. There is no software needed to be installed on the computer. And it also offers dual-layer security, including password-protected access and ultra-secure AES hardware-based encryption.
The SanDisk Ultra Backup drive will come in capacities of 8GB-64GB, and cost between $39.99 and $199.99. It’ll be one of the products to be displayed at CES 2009 in Vegas.
