
Another network attached storage disc has been announced by LaCie and they call it a Ethernet backup disc. It’s designed for people who have some serious data to back up and share over the network.
The LaCie’s Ethernet backup disc offers storage in capacity in the range of terabytes. They offer three flavors starting at $750, which are in 2TB, 4TB and 6TB of storage capacities. The disc can support various platforms for sharing files including Mac, PC, Linux, and even Unixes. And it can support up 100 different users. As shown in the picture above, it comes in a 1U rack form factor.
