
Neoi 906E – a tri-band GMS/GPRS handset has now claimed itself as the thinnest QWERTY smartphone. This handset is just about the size of a credit card and it features a full QWERTY keyboard.
The entire Neoi 906E handset measures only 54 x 83 x 10 mm and weighs a mere 88 grams. Despite the super slim body, the phone is packed with lots of great features. The exterior of this phone comes in a brushed aluminum finish. The phone also comes equipped with a number of shortcut keys or buttons for the quick access to audio and video players and camera. Neoi 906E handset also claims itself as the world’s first micro-sized J2ME hand phone. Apparently, this handset is highly concerned with all these titles as it may make it to stand out and be more appealing.
Features wise, other than the mentioned QWERTY, it boasts a 262K color 26mm x 21mm TFT display, comes with a built-in memory of 512MB which can expanded via the microSD card slot up to 8GB. It also features an FM radio, a camera (but unknown for the resolution), audio and video recorder, Bluetooth, WAP, GPRS, Java 2.0 and the battery can last up 150 minutes of talk time. The price and availability are still unknown.
